Student answer (Band 5.5)

There has been an ongoing debate about whether the additional subejcts are also include along with the main subjects or not . Some individuals believe that educators want to learn about other subejcts in addition to their main subjects, whereas others argue that it is extremly crucial to their all time and attention to their main subjects. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own views.

On the one hand, proponents of learning about additional subjects argue that studying other subjects togther with main subjects are more advocative. This is primarily because, pupils believe that this system can encourage them to enhance other skills or academics. In addition to this, some students considered that is may also establish a convenient way to secure their future. A notable example of this is, if any individual learn more skills then their main subjects such as AI skills, Machine learning, Automation, and so on. Thus, it may provides numerous option in job role because they have additional skills with their mai subjects. Therefore, it often claimed that learning other skills or subjects upholds the humans to secure their future.

On the other hand, critics contend that giving all their time and attention to only their qualification is more beneficial. This viewpoint is supported by the fact because it is not effortless for everyone to learn more than their main subjects. Since every individuals have different mindset and perspectives. Moreover, substantial number of educator believe that studying other skills are time consuming and distracting. For instance, when pupils learn another subjects along with their main subjects it take too long time because every topic take their sufficient time. Additionally, giving time to another subject distracts the kids mind from their significant subjects.

From my perspectives, I belive that make equal curriculam is this system can encourage their motivation and academics.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both views and give a personal position, so the response is relevant to the prompt. The first body paragraph explains that additional subjects may build skills and improve job prospects, while the second raises concerns about time and distraction. However, these ideas are only partly developed: the examples are brief, and the final opinion—“make equal curriculam”—is difficult to interpret and is not supported with a clear reason. The introduction also inaccurately refers to “educators” wanting to learn other subjects, rather than university students. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly and explain how a balanced approach would work, using a specific example to support it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a concluding opinion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “From my perspectives” helps readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes weakened by unclear links and abrupt fragments. For example, “Since every individuals have different mindset and perspectives” is not connected grammatically to the preceding sentence, and “A notable example of this is, if any individual…” does not lead smoothly into its example. Some linking phrases, including “Therefore” and “Additionally,” feel repetitive or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas. Connect each explanation and example explicitly, and make the conclusion a complete, clear summary of your view.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “qualification,” “distracting,” “secure their future,” and “job role,” and the reader can generally identify the intended subject matter. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “more advocative,” “upholds the humans,” and “convenient way to secure their future”; these do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “subejcts,” “extremly,” “togther,” and “curriculam.” Aim for precise, natural academic phrases—for example, “develop transferable skills” or “improve employment prospects”—and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “whereas,” “because,” and “when,” and the overall meaning is often recoverable. However, the range is limited, and attempts at complex sentences frequently contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, or sentence construction. For example, “studying other subjects … are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “if any individual learn” and “it may provides” use incorrect verb forms. “Since every individuals have…” is an incomplete sentence, and “it take too long time” contains agreement and article/phrase-structure problems. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses. Check that each sentence has a complete main clause and that subjects and verbs agree.
