Student answer (Band 4.5)
Firstly i am talked about learning other subject like additional. I thing both are good things to focus on aditional subject and main subject . I think student should focus on additional subject .
Because mostly student are intersting in painting, music, computer. It is good for student like to increase percentage like If student can earn good mark in additional subject it is increase precentage. ON the my point of view student should focus on other subject. It is build interested in other activity. i things all school compaslary additional subject. Student should build more confidance and particapate in other a activity. I Things it is improve percentage and build interested in other activity
On the other point student says. it is not important to focus on additional subject focus on main subject like business, accounts, economices. Because some student are not intersing in addition subject. they give important on main subject. Student things constrate on main subject . Build future i things that reason student give more importanc to subject not additional . But openatonal subject can build tailent in other activity. conclusion my point of view is both is good for our advise but if student choose additional subject is build good persentage in exam. other student focus on main subject like to build future. but additional subject perfome main role in education

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both views and state a preference for studying additional subjects, mentioning interests such as painting, music and computers, as well as the value of focusing on subjects linked to a future career. However, the discussion is brief and the reasons are often repeated rather than explained. For example, the claim that additional subjects “increase percentage” is unclear, and the point about building confidence is not supported with a specific example. Your position also becomes less clear in the conclusion, where you say both choices are good without firmly restating which view you support. The response is 222 words, below the required 250, so the task is not fully developed. Explain each view more clearly and add relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic overall shape: it introduces the topic, gives a paragraph for additional subjects, presents the opposing view, and ends with a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other point” signal a change in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated and connections are often unclear. For instance, “It is improve percentage and build interested in other activity” repeats earlier claims without showing how they relate. The conclusion also combines several points without a clear final position. Use one main idea per paragraph, develop it in a logical order, and connect reasons to examples with clear linking phrases. Check that each sentence follows naturally from the one before it.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “additional subject,” “main subject,” “confidence,” and “future,” so the reader can identify the general discussion. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “intersting,” “compaslary,” “confidance,” and “tailent.” Phrases such as “increase percentage” and “build interested” are not natural collocations, while “openatonal subject” is unclear. Aim to use accurate topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain benefits such as developing transferable skills or improving academic performance without repeating the same phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to express reasons and contrast the two views, but sentence structures are mostly simple, and errors are frequent enough to make some ideas hard to follow. For example, “Firstly i am talked about learning other subject” has an incorrect verb form, while “It is build interested in other activity” has problems with the verb pattern and sentence construction. There are also errors in subject–verb agreement and articles, as in “mostly student are” and “student should focus.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the use of “ON” and missing spaces after commas. Practise forming clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses to explain reasons. Proofread for verb forms, plurals, articles, and sentence boundaries.
