Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, university students have different opinions about how they spend their time. Some students want to learn about other subject with main subjects, Whereas other students are only intrested to give their entire time into qualificational study. Some students are being educated in all fields and mostly students have best telented into their particualr field. This both view are very important to discusse with pros and cons in below paragraph.

From my perspective, it is important role for the all students when they get jobs on particular field. Some best knowlageble students have enough talent on all fields so they can easily seek the jobs in any company and it is good thing. If the student have enough time to read and learn about other topic subject like which totaly different field from the their chooses field they can learn and implement in their life. But they have to choose like IT field so they do not well focuse on Medical line field. However they spends time only relavent course in IT field such as if student becoming a software development but they want to study about cybersecurity so it will easily get understand and learn. Also it becoming a benifical in future when he or she applied for job.

Which people are supports second view, First of all eduction system give opportunity to choose any field in college and school which student have interest in any field they can easily choose it. Although many students are do not well perform in choose field. However, they must be highly focuse on the particular field and after they can get good marks in exam also gain knowlage so they can implement in real life. If student are spends more time on particular field they can gain high knowlage as well as they are use it in future.

Although, Student have their right and they are know abilities how they can get knowlage from subejcts also if the student are focusing on main subject and other subject or relatively subject in their particular field so it any how benifits to the students becuase they have good knowlage. Thus, if students are spends only time on main subject they have not enough knowlage on their enitire field.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a preference for learning beyond a narrowly defined subject, especially when you explain that studying cybersecurity can complement software development. You also present the opposing view that concentrating on a chosen field can improve knowledge and exam performance. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening mainly announces that both views will be discussed, and the conclusion shifts between supporting related study and warning against focusing only on the main subject. Several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, that broad knowledge helps students find jobs in any company. To strengthen the response, state your opinion clearly in the introduction and conclusion, and develop each view with a specific, realistic example and a clearer explanation of its benefits or drawbacks.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “From my perspective,” “However” and “Thus.” Nevertheless, progression within and between paragraphs is often difficult to follow. The first body paragraph moves from general employability to unrelated fields and then to IT examples without a clear sequence, while the second begins “Which people are supports second view,” an unclear transition. Connectors such as “Although” and “However” are sometimes used where the relationship between ideas is not clear, and references such as “this both view” are hard to interpret. Organise each paragraph around one view, explain its main point, then give a directly relevant example; use simpler, more precise transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “qualification,” “particular field,” “implement” and “cybersecurity,” and the IT example shows an effort to be specific. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “field,” “student” and “know(l)age.” Frequent spelling and word-form errors—such as “intrested,” “telented,” “qualificational” and “benifical”—make the writing less fluent and sometimes obscure meaning. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “give their entire time into qualificational study” and “gain high knowlage.” Build a bank of accurate academic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise choices would help express the contrast between broad learning and specialisation without relying on repeated general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional forms such as “If the student have enough time…” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure, but complex attempts are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “Some students are being educated in all fields,” “Which people are supports second view,” and “if students are spends only time.” Subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction need particular attention. Several sentences also contain unclear or incomplete relationships between clauses. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; check that each subject matches its verb and that every sentence expresses a complete, logical idea.
