Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the modern world, educational degree is more significant in their life. A few universities post graduates students want to learn other sayllabs in addition to their main subjects, while others argue that it is more indispensiable to give all their time and attention to studying for a qualification. If questioned, I will discuss both the views and my position is elaborated furthur reasons and examples.

To begin with, one of the foremost of benefits is that other course activites add in their main subjects. This is because students can improve their knowledge and boost confidence. As a result, some learners can interest in model makings, technologies, and art-paintings. For example, students aquire vacational traning and experience through university. Furthermore, some universities should implement other course training due to improving their phsyical strengh and brain stroming.

On the other hand, the major advantages is that the main subjects qualification do require all their time and attention. To explain it, these can be a reputable professional qualification in future caeer path such as Doctors, Lawyer, and engineers. As much as, many young students should give efforts and time in thier own subjects because it helps become more resonsible and manage their time in their life.

To conclude, a few under graduates students requirement a few subjects to learn rahter than main subjects becuse they improve their vocational skills and abilities, although it is more important for an education qualification to give full times and attentions. In my view point is both are equally opportunities to give all students because younger generation encourage through the reputable societies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the discussion and give a view, so the response is relevant to the task. The first body paragraph mentions benefits such as confidence, practical skills and exposure to activities beyond a main subject; the second explains that qualifications can support careers such as medicine, law and engineering. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained with clear, specific examples. Your position is also difficult to identify: the introduction promises a view, while the conclusion says both options are equally valuable but then appears to favour full attention to a qualification. Clarify your opinion and develop each main reason with a concrete example and explanation of its effect. The response contains 12 words copied from the task prompt; these were not counted in the authoritative length check.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and some sentences do not connect logically to the point before them. For example, the move from students’ interests in art and technology to universities improving physical strength and brainstorming is abrupt. The conclusion also repeats earlier claims without resolving the uncertainty in your position. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main argument, then link each example explicitly to that argument. Clearer referencing and fewer formulaic transitions would make the organisation easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and future work, including “qualification,” “vocational training,” “reputable,” and “career path.” This shows an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make some phrases difficult to understand, such as “sayllabs,” “indispensiable,” “aquire vacational traning,” and “reputable societies.” Several combinations are also unnatural, including “add in their main subjects” and “give efforts and time.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations as complete phrases. Prefer precise, familiar wording when unsure; for example, “gain practical experience” is clearer than an uncertain or misspelled expression.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “while,” “because,” and “although,” and the reader can generally recognise the intended discussion. However, the range is limited, and attempts at longer structures often contain errors that make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “students can interest in model makings,” “the major advantages is,” and “it helps become more resonsible,” where sentence patterns, agreement, or missing grammatical elements are problematic. Articles, plurals, and possessive forms also need attention, as in “an education qualification” and “all their time and attention.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one subordinate clause. Check that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
