Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, there is some student who want to enhance their skills and learn about new things moreover, there is the other unniversity students believes that the most vital decisions is to stay full time student and they dont want to distrub their studies with other subjects. From my perspective, i see that it is a crucial thing to learn about other subjects in order to level up.
To begin with,it is a good things to focus on studying all the time aimimg for the qualification and good results due to the fact that ,focusing in one thing and have a clear vision as a student is something significant to us.For instance,my friend he was a fully commited person to study, he dont want to meet us too much and he not interesting in hobbies at all,due to it clear vision towards getting a good band .Ultimately, he did it ,since he was a commited student anf give ll his attention to studying.
On top of that, learning about new subjects and learning new things is the most essencial step for me ,due to throw this we craft and boost our personnal and professional carreer. For example, when i was young i was very shy and i didnt have the ability to talk in front of people and clarify my ideas or my point of view about something, however i decided to work on myself throw selling earpuds to people offline and talk with them , day after day i boost my level of communication and i begin a good student who can talk freerly and without hesitation in front everyone.
In conclusion, learning new subjects its something helpful in our studies and also in our personnal path, however focusing in studies is also good things but it leaves student limited to studies and they cant enhance their skills at all.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear personal position: you support learning beyond a main subject, while acknowledging the value of concentrating on a qualification. The examples about your friend’s commitment and your own experience selling earbuds help make the discussion relevant. However, the first view is developed more through a personal anecdote than through an explanation of why focusing exclusively on a qualification benefits students. Your argument that additional subjects build personal and professional skills is also broad; explain more specifically how this could help students academically or in future employment. Developing these points more evenly and linking each example directly to the argument would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “On top of that,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. The progression within paragraphs is generally understandable, moving from a claim to an example. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear, particularly the long opening sentence and the transition from your friend’s story to the claim about qualification results. Several sentences run together without clear punctuation, which makes relationships between ideas harder to follow. Use clearer sentence boundaries and refer back explicitly to the point each example supports; this would make the organisation feel more controlled and less dependent on formulaic linking phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “qualification,” “professional career,” “communication,” and “enhance their skills.” These choices help convey your main ideas, and there is an attempt to use less basic expressions such as “clear vision.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “unniversity,” “commited,” “essencial,” and “personnal.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “level up,” “boost our personnal and professional carreer,” and “a good band.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural academic collocations. Building a small set of topic-specific phrases and checking word forms would improve clarity and make your vocabulary more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “however,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. There are some errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “there is some student who want” has a number-agreement problem, while “he dont want” and “he not interesting” show errors in verb formation. In “focusing in one thing and have a clear vision,” the structures are not parallel. Commas and full stops are also often missing, creating run-on sentences. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and complete verb phrases, and divide longer ideas into shorter sentences. More consistent control of these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts clearer.
