Student answer (Band 5.0)
A few educational institutions students have thought to learn many other subjects that cannot related to their regional subject. Others think that to qualification can need proper time and focus on the studies. In this essay we will discuss both points and explain why student needs to give attention on other subject that cannot related to their subject.
On the one hand, in modern days technology can help students in their studies. In this way, student can solve many difficult task many easily. For example, new application like artificial intelligence, google and many other apps. I usually use road to map for preparation of my physics exam. It can help me a lot to give the basic concept videos. This can help to reduce stress about the studies because my aim to achieve good marks but did not have any time for studies. I make proper time table for studies and this can help to make positive attitude toward study. It can give me the lesson of hard work can paid-off and studies need proper attention.
On the other hand, intelligent student always ager to gain knowledge about new skills because it can help to improve the their learning skills. For example, my little brother always search about the history of countries. Recently he research about history of United States America.
In my opinion, to learn about many other subject can help to develop interest towards studies and gain your knowledge about different things.
In conclusion, in modern society students can adopt the practical skills instead of learning only, but it is also important to give proper attention toward studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You introduce both views and state a preference for learning additional subjects, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion only partially fulfils the task: the argument for focusing exclusively on a qualification is not clearly explained, and much of the first body paragraph discusses technology, timetables and exam stress rather than the value of studying other subjects. The examples about using an app for physics and your brother researching US history are relevant in places, but their connection to the two positions is not fully developed. Your opinion appears in the introduction and conclusion, but it would be clearer if you explained why broader study is more valuable and supported that reason with a specific example. Develop both sides directly and consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the intended stages. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the first body paragraph moves from technology to an exam example, stress, a timetable and hard work without showing how these points support the relevant view. The second side is much shorter and does not balance the discussion. Some links are also unclear, as in “This can help to reduce stress” and “It can give me the lesson,” where the reference of “this/it” is uncertain. Organise each body paragraph around one view, then connect each example explicitly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “qualification,” “gain knowledge,” “learning skills” and “practical skills,” and the reader can generally identify the subject of your essay. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning awkward, such as “regional subject,” “road to map,” “give attention on” and “intelligent student always ager.” Repetition of “studies,” “help” and “subject” also limits precision. These issues sometimes make the reader work to understand your intended meaning, particularly in the technology example. Aim to use accurate, natural phrases for the task, such as “main field of study,” “broaden their knowledge” and “devote time to their degree,” and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning “because” and “that,” and the overall message is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts often contain errors that can make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “students have thought to learn,” “student can solve many difficult task,” and “my aim to achieve good marks but did not have any time.” There are recurring problems with articles, plural forms, subject–verb agreement, verb forms and sentence construction. For example, “he research” needs a past-tense verb, while “the their learning skills” contains an unnecessary article. Practise building accurate sentences around one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar.
