Student answer (Band 4.5)
There are varieties of subjects learn all around the world such as computer, science, physics and biology, chemistry, these all types of subjects are most important sources to improve our knowledge. I will discuss both views, which is the most vital ordinary point in our dally lives. In addition, i will you several reasons that support my ideas.
Other people believe that, it is more an essential to spend all their time and fully attention to studying for a qualification. The high level qualification is more benefical for all types of students such as college students, university students, and school children because the education conveniently boosts all kinds of our weak areas like lifestyle, increasing knowledge, and maintaining our confidence also communication skills. One the best advantage due to considerable effort, we must study in abroad for our higher education and explore all sorts of prominent places, and we can get a great experience due to good qualification.
Some university want to learn related to different subjects instead to focus on main their fileds for example software engineering, Doctor and also civil engineering, because the number of student already select their fileds for future studies. On of the most important useful advantage for students.
They can easily understand their main concept and fully attention on studying without hesitations. Other benefits for their choice main subject instead od all subjects, the students could not spend time on various types of lessons, in adition, they must get more knowledge their select fileds
To sum up, I have discussed both perspectives, we should spend time all types of subjects, because these studies can easily expand our knowledge related to environment, forecasting deforestation and our body functions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response makes an attempt to discuss both views and gives a preference in the conclusion, but the task is addressed only partially. The paragraph about focusing on a qualification offers relevant points, such as improving knowledge and confidence, although the link to the benefits of concentrating on one’s main subject is not always clear. The discussion of learning additional subjects is much less developed: it mentions understanding concepts and broadening knowledge, but does not explain these benefits with a clear example. The final opinion—“we should spend time all types of subjects”—is stated, yet it is not reconciled with the earlier support for focusing on a qualification. Develop each side with a specific reason and example, then state a consistent, clearly supported position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt at paragraphing, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify the broad stages of the response. However, ideas are not arranged coherently within those sections, and progression is difficult to follow. For example, the first body paragraph moves from qualifications to lifestyle, communication skills, studying abroad and travel without explaining how these points connect. The next paragraph begins with students choosing different subjects, then shifts to focusing on their main subject, leaving the relationship between the ideas unclear. Linking phrases such as “In addition” and “To sum up” are present, but they do not repair these jumps. Organise each paragraph around one view and use clear topic sentences and logical explanations.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “qualification,” “higher education,” “communication skills” and “main subject,” which helps convey the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “fully attention,” “main their fileds,” “ordinary point” and “the education conveniently boosts.” Spelling errors such as “benefical,” “dally” and “adition” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural combinations rather than adding ambitious phrases whose meaning is uncertain. For instance, use “devote their full attention” and “broaden their knowledge,” and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example the sentence beginning “Other people believe that,” but these structures are often faulty. Errors in sentence formation and agreement occur in phrases such as “There are varieties of subjects learn” and “Some university want to learn”; the intended meanings are understandable only with effort. Articles and prepositions are also inconsistently controlled, as in “study in abroad” and “instead to focus.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries are problematic in the opening, where several subject examples are joined into one run-on sentence. There are a few simple clauses that communicate basic points, but the range is limited and complex attempts are not reliably controlled. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences before combining them with clauses.
