Student answer (Band 5.5)

In todays world, there is a considerable debate about university education syestem. While some students argue that want to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subjects, other believe that it is essential to give all their time and attention to studying for qualification. This eassy will discuss both perspective before providing my opinions.

On one hand, those who want to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subject has been widely supported for several reasons . Firstly ,we are living here in the eraa of technology so every students must have knowledge the new technology such as computer and other essential tools. For instance a students who took admissions in literature feild like bs English or urdu they must know how to make presentation on Ms word in computer or laptop . This suggest that technology and mew features are most beneficial tools for the students in his acdamic .Therefore, many individuals believe that lean to other subjects is the most important thing.

On the other hand, there are those who argue that it is essential to give all time and attention to studying for qualifications. One of the main reason is that individuals want to fully concentration on their kain subject. For instance they become full master of their subject and highly command on their subjects.for example a student who takes admissions in literature feild and become full expert in this subject they want to learn only their main subject mThis view is supported by some individuals.

In conclusion, while both arguments have their merits.I believe thatlearn about orher subject in addition to their main subject is the most beneficial. This is because students must know about the new technology, and it is crucial to consider that learning new technology and equipment is the most beneficial for students

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a clear preference for learning additional subjects, especially technology. The examples about literature students using presentation software and becoming experts in their main subject are relevant to the discussion. However, the reasons remain limited and are not fully explained: the first view is mainly supported by the need to use technology, while the case for concentrating on a qualification is asserted rather than explored. The conclusion repeats your preference but does not weigh the two arguments or explain why broader study is more beneficial overall. Develop each side with a fuller explanation and a specific example, then make your final judgement more directly answer the comparison.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several linking expressions feel mechanical or do not connect ideas smoothly. For example, “This view is supported by some individuals” adds little after the example, while “Therefore” introduces a broad conclusion without a clear chain of reasoning. Some references, such as “they” in the example about a literature student, are also unclear. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “qualification,” “technology,” “essential tools,” and “concentration,” and you attempt academic phrases such as “both perspectives.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning less clear, including “fully concentration,” “highly command,” and “learn to other subjects.” Spelling errors such as “syestem,” “eassy,” “acdamic,” and “mew” are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the writing. Aim to learn topic-specific phrases as complete collocations, and proofread carefully for spelling and word forms. More precise language would help you explain the benefits and drawbacks without repeating “subject” and “beneficial.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “so,” and “because.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in agreement and sentence structure appear in phrases such as “every students must have knowledge” and “those … has been widely supported.” Articles and verb patterns are also inconsistent, as in “studying for qualification” and “want to fully concentration.” Punctuation and spacing problems, including missing spaces after commas and the run-on conclusion beginning “In conclusion, while,” make some sentences harder to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
