Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some universities want to encourage their students to learn the other subjects with their main subject while other believes that they must fouse on their main subjects. In my perspective, learning other subjects with the main subject enable us to get knowledge about all the feilds of life.
To begin with the opinion of learning the other subjects with main subjects. If a person is studying other subjects while he is good in their main subjects so it is an exellent thing which enable him to fulfil all the task in the society. As a result, he became a good earner and also a helpful person in society. Furthermore, it enable him to solve the problems. Subjects like history and socialogy encourages him to live a life like a wellwichers in the past and shycology made him to know the difficulties of life. For example, if a person is studying sciences with his main subjects it made him able to talk about science with any other science related students which make him to feel pride in front of others.
Now others which only focus on thier main subjects are those students who know that we are not good in our main subject therefore, they want to stay focus on their main subject to pass the exam with their full attention and good marks. For example, when i am in 9th class. I felt some weakness in my main subjects so i'd perfer to study main subjects in most of the time.
In conclusion, if you are a good in your main subject so you must want to study other subjects to be a master mind in the future. Government should also encourage the universities to make a saperate depatments for those students who are able to study other subjects with their main subjects.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear preference for studying additional subjects, and you include reasons such as gaining broader knowledge and being able to discuss science with other students. You also present the contrasting view that students may need to concentrate on their main subject to pass, supported by a personal example. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the benefits of broader study are described in general terms, and the opposing view is mainly explained through your own difficulty at school rather than a fuller account of why students prioritise a qualification. Your conclusion introduces a government proposal about separate departments, which is not explained or connected clearly to the discussion. Develop both views more evenly and make your final recommendation directly follow from your reasons.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “Now,” and “In conclusion” help the reader follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links feel mechanical. For example, the first body paragraph moves from earning and helping society to history, sociology, psychology, and then science without showing how these examples support one central point. References such as “it” and “him” also make it difficult to identify who or what is meant in places. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it; use clearer references and transitions between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “main subjects,” “full attention,” “qualification,” and “society,” and you try to express ideas about academic breadth and future ability. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “fulfil all the task in the society,” “a good earner,” and “live a life like a wellwichers in the past.” There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “fouse,” “feilds,” “exellent,” and “saperate.” Build a more precise set of academic phrases for discussing study choices, and check spelling and collocations carefully so your intended meaning is consistently clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If a person is studying other subjects…” and a sentence beginning “For example.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout. For instance, “other believes” needs a plural subject and matching verb, while “learning other subjects … enable us” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The sentence “when i am in 9th class” shifts into an unclear tense and is not integrated smoothly with the past example. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, and check agreement and tense consistency before adding more complexity.
