Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this rapidly evolving world, competition has increased over the period so that most university student want to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subjects. While others believe it is more cricial to give all their time and attention to studying for a qualification. This essay will first evaluate both viewpoin before showing my final thought.
On the one hand, most of students want to learn about other subjects and technology because they want great occupation and career opportunities after completing their education. This is because they know that in the future competition has increase significantly so that learn anout new subjects and technology can be utilise ti get batter job and also they established their own business. For instence, many students learn about other subjects or technology with their study because it enhance their knowledge. As a result, students can not face problem in the future.
On the other hand, other believe that it more vital to give all thir time abd attention to studing for a qualification and main focus on particular subjecs. This is because most students can not learn other subjects with their university study because it give them high presure and consequently they can not focus on their both study or exam. To illustats, in India, , many students do preparation for other competitive exam with their ragulare collede or school so that many times they do not achieve high result. Hence, individiuals decame deprresed.
In conclusion, learn about new subjects or skills is most important of individual because it help them in future. In my estimation, technology has increase significantly in the future so people must have knowledge about other filed and subjects.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views: the first body paragraph explains why students may seek broader knowledge for career opportunities, while the second presents the concern that extra study can create pressure and affect exam results. Your conclusion also gives a preference for learning additional subjects. However, the position is not fully consistent: the introduction promises a “final thought,” but the conclusion shifts from the value of new subjects to a claim about technology without clearly weighing the two views. Several points remain general, and the examples—especially the reference to competitive exams in India—need clearer explanation of how they support the argument. Develop each view with a specific, relevant example and state your opinion more directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are linked mechanically with repeated “because,” “so that,” and “as a result.” Some connections are unclear, such as the move from learning technology to establishing a business, and the example about competitive exams is not fully tied to the claim about pressure. Use fewer formulaic linkers and make each sentence’s relationship to the main point explicit; clearer referencing would also help.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “career opportunities,” “qualification,” “competitive exam,” and “pressure,” so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “other subjects,” “students,” and “future.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, including “cricial,” “batter job,” “ragulare,” and “deprresed,” which can distract the reader. Some combinations are unnatural, such as “great occupation” and “face problem.” Build a more precise set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully; for example, use “career prospects” and “cope with difficulties” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning “because” and “so that,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Examples include “most university student want,” “competition has increase,” and “it give them high presure,” where agreement or verb forms are incorrect. The sentence “learn about new subjects or skills is most important” also needs a grammatical subject form and article. Punctuation is inconsistent, including the doubled comma in “India, ,” and some sentences run together through repeated conjunctions. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, past and present verb forms, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
