In this concurrent society many adults are influenced to be self-employed. They don't intend to be an employee of any organisation. Personally, I believe that this could be happen because of various reasons. but primary factor will be their personal preference according to their desires.
On the one hand, being an employee can give numerous benefits to individuals. Because for gaining experience person should be willing to any work relate to their future goals for a period of time. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for self-employment and discussing disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited and sometimes unclear. For example, the discussion on the 'struggle phase' is introduced but not fully explained in relation to the disadvantages of self-employment. The argument is somewhat disjointed, and the connection between the reasons for choosing self-employment and the potential drawbacks is not always explicit. To improve, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea that directly answers the prompt's specific questions.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'On the one hand', 'In summary'), they are often applied mechanically or incorrectly, such as the use of 'However, nevertheless' in the same sentence. Referencing is occasionally confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the writer's train of thought. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally into the next would significantly enhance the coherence of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'concurrent society' instead of 'contemporary society' and 'business personals' instead of 'business people' or 'entrepreneurs'. Some phrases are repetitive, and the range of vocabulary is limited to basic terms. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to employment and business, while ensuring that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'this could be happen'), missing articles, and punctuation errors, such as starting sentences with 'but' or 'and' in a way that disrupts the flow. Sentence boundaries are sometimes unclear, with fragments like 'who achieve their goals by analyse the trends'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
