Student answer (Band 5.5)
Above mentioned scenarios are common now a days.many people preffer to work as a self-employed.
They dont want to work under any authority.
They prefer to manage by self.beacuse they dont want to work under some Persons and dont want to take the pressure of being jobian.
But there may b disadvantage that if there is a risk of managing all the thing.if there is something happening it could effect their business and may b financial loss they have to bear themselves.
If he is doing job there is no risk which mean if there is some sort of loss happening in company it couldn't effect your salary.company has to pay your salary fully.
Lets explain with example if we see todays situation heavy rain fall effect many thing but i didn't have loss on my salary . company has paid me salary fully but in other case a person have cloth shop have severely effected from rain water.the water has come in shop and effect the entire raw material as well as stitched materia .they have to face loss in crore.and tehy yave to bear it by himeself.
If the person is working with someone else in shop he or she won't have effect of this rain and rain water.he or she ahould be paid by salarybut now in the situation he completely faces all the loss bys self and didn't claim to anyone beacuse its nature diasters happening with him.so he managed all the things again by hime or herself.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for choosing self-employment and the disadvantages involved. However, the development of ideas is limited. The reasons provided are somewhat repetitive, focusing primarily on the desire to avoid authority. The discussion of disadvantages is supported by a personal example regarding a cloth shop, which helps illustrate the point, but the explanation lacks depth and academic tone. The response would benefit from a more structured approach, clearly separating the reasons and the disadvantages into distinct paragraphs to ensure a more balanced and comprehensive exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices; sentences are often linked in a mechanical or repetitive way, such as the frequent use of 'if' and 'because'. The transition between the reasons for self-employment and the disadvantages is abrupt. To improve, you should use linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'on the other hand' to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure that each paragraph has a clear central theme.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'managing all the thing' and 'some sort of loss' are imprecise. There are also issues with word formation and collocation, such as 'jobian' and 'stitched materia'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little attempt to use more sophisticated or academic language appropriate for an IELTS Task 2 essay. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise terms related to business and employment would significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('company has to pay', 'he or she ahould be paid'), article usage, and punctuation. Sentence structures are predominantly simple, and there are several run-on sentences and fragments. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are persistent and affect the overall fluency of the text. To reach a higher band, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, improving your control over verb tenses, and incorporating a wider variety of complex sentence structures.
