Student answer (Band 6.0)
As people now believe to earn by working what they like rather than slay working. They do not want to be managed by someone they manage themselves and start there own. That is why many startup was come up with the new innovative business model rather then working traditional way.
As working in firm which bring the monopoly work and there is no upskill in oneself . As earlier there was no encouragement and just follow the traditional work style and also more importance to earn rather than doing thing which actual like. But todays generation want to been an owner of themselves and want to do what they like. As the work space were very toxic and much more politics ,sometime no give the worth pay and designation. Which affect personal life so that why people now be work in small scale but has to be owned .
Also it would generally notice in the state like Rajasthan and Gujarat there people more towards the business and they had business from long period of time so by joining and continue the legacy of family they work .Even the famous MBA chai wala founder is an MBA but thought of opening the tea stall rather than working in big4 companies. As he want to become a leader of themselves and now its franchise was all over Gujarat .But the perks of own business means fully devote to work and starting from scrap needs alot of passion and consistency which sometime lack and due to that there might be a possibility of shutting down the business and also the stress and anxiety of replaying the loan and borrowing make a mental breakdown .
So being self employed means from structure to policy to rules everything is according to them and that must be done by proper research and there must be proper capital allocation and strategically work .Which need alot of self awarness and self knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for self-employment and the potential disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While the essay touches on toxic work environments and the desire for autonomy, the arguments are often fragmented and lack depth. For example, the mention of 'MBA chai wala' is a relevant real-world example, but the explanation of why this trend is occurring remains somewhat superficial. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the points made. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and provides a more thorough explanation of the points raised.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the flow between sentences is often disjointed. Many sentences start with 'As' or 'And', which creates a repetitive and somewhat mechanical feel. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often misused or placed awkwardly, such as 'Which affect personal life so that why people now be work'. The progression of ideas is sometimes difficult to follow because the logical links between the reasons for self-employment and the subsequent disadvantages are not clearly articulated.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'slay working', 'many startup was come up', and 'replaying the loan'. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'capital allocation' and 'franchise', these are often surrounded by grammatical errors that detract from the overall quality. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than relying on informal or incorrectly applied terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'many startup was come up'), tense usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragments or run-on sentences, such as 'Which affect personal life so that why people now be work in small scale but has to be owned'. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are frequently inaccurate. A focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve the clarity of the writing.
