Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's word, most of the people who are transitioning into the practical field, prefer to be self independent rather than relying or following the rules of the higher authority. There can be multiple reasons, following the age group, environment and resources they are given at that time.
Overall, the people who says that they feel more relaxed and happy in low risk environments and steady growth are actually the people who are employed by any company or organization. Such people are indeed happy and face least dramatic losses financially, the preference of such people is particularly the stable income and life. They are not ready for immediate misshapen in their financial career or taking high risk decisions. Their absolute priority is to live peaceful and uninterrupted life.
On the other hand, the people who prefer to be self employed and run their own organization, company or startups are the people who are ready to take risks. Their decision making skills automatically reaches at a perfect level which means such group of people can handle large number of teams. While they get nice leadership skills but on the back side of this face, they get financially great losses of the time, high risk of employees resignation or there can be shortage of skillful and talented employees in the market, that can directly affect the growth of the company and relatively affect mentally, physically and financially the owner of company.
This is a ground reality that self employed people usually experiences ups and downs in their employment journey that is completely opposite to the people who work for the company. However self employed people can think out of the box, their survival and leadership skills can also be integrated in many other sectors. In short self employed people gets real freedom despite of initial handwork and losses.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for choosing self-employment and the disadvantages involved. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph focuses heavily on employees rather than the reasons for self-employment, which is a slight imbalance. While the second paragraph touches on risks and leadership, the explanation of why people choose this path is a bit generic. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, concrete examples of the 'reasons' (e.g., desire for autonomy or financial independence) and expand on the disadvantages with more depth rather than listing them briefly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to contrast the two groups. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'on the back side of this face' or 'that can directly affect'. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs could be smoother. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and some sentences feel disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used in a natural, academic context would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or non-standard collocations, such as 'self independent', 'immediate misshapen', and 'financially great losses'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, and the errors in word choice occasionally draw attention. To improve, focus on learning common collocations related to business and employment, and ensure you use words in their correct grammatical form (e.g., 'financial losses' instead of 'financially great losses').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader. Examples include 'the people who says', 'reaches at a perfect level', and 'despite of initial handwork'. Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While the errors do not completely obscure the meaning, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for basic errors like subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed with correct grammatical links.
