Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the recent time the rising trend that many recident select to be independent worker, better than working under organisation or services. There could be multiple reasons for such a situation and it has certain drawbacks also. It is significant because of practical and social implications which discussed in following paragraphs. My inclination will also explained further with valid point and appropeiate examples.
One of the primary reason of this idea is that, it is more flexible for people who do not want to work under anyone. This is because people can do work anytime anywhere they find appropeiate and comfortable. As a result, they do not feel stress along with that feeling of working under pressure of seniors become more widespread recently. For instance thesedays self employed people are work worldwide also where have different time clock.
Furthermore, although of their several merits, there could be the many demerits of being independent employe. Firstly they could face many challanges to built trust among public and the result in, nowadays general people are working same without any degree and certification with low cost which become difficult for profashional people. Consiquently self-employed experience compition surrounded by them. For example, Information Technology graduates, despite of them, today people use artifical intelligence to solve technical problems and learn from that. it creates less opportunities for IT experts.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for self-employment and the disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited. The reasons provided (flexibility and stress reduction) are somewhat generic and lack depth. The disadvantages section is confusing, particularly the argument regarding 'trust' and 'artificial intelligence,' which is not clearly linked to the challenges of being self-employed. The position is stated in the introduction but is not consistently maintained or clearly argued throughout the body paragraphs. To improve, you should provide more specific, logical examples and ensure that each point directly answers the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often unclear. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Furthermore', 'Consequently', 'In conclusion'), they are sometimes used incorrectly or in a way that makes the flow mechanical. The referencing is occasionally ambiguous, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logic between sentences. For instance, the transition between the benefits and the drawbacks is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The range of vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'recident' (residents), 'independent worker' (freelancer/self-employed), and 'time clock' (time zones). Spelling errors are frequent, such as 'appropeiate', 'thesedays', 'challanges', 'profashional', and 'consiquently'. These errors occasionally impede communication. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your vocabulary to include more precise, academic terms and focus on accurate spelling and correct word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by grammatical errors. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'In the recent time the rising trend that many recident select...'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. The frequency of these errors is high, which often forces the reader to re-read sentences to understand the intended meaning. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be a good starting point for improvement.
