Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the contemporary era , majority of the residents are liked to be self - employed rather than to paid by any organisation. The major cause for this are modern innovation that allow citizens to work online to earn their living. consequently, it result into declining the employees rate in companies.
To begin with these , we all know we are genz generation and we don't want to rely on someone for our survival. So, we use digital platforms as well as digital skills which helps us alots to earn our living. However, the citizens nowadays have a different mindset as compared to millenial ones. They works on digital platforms that paid them for work per hour without any experience, without any graduation degree. The thing that meant most is skill to work on that platform.I contemplates that person is earning much on platform as compared to offered by companies.
But there are more the disadvantage of the digital work and self- employed, as it made people dependent upon the technology as they took it as source of income for them. But ultimately it have large impact on the economic growth of the country. The rate of employment declines the economic growth of country drastically as compared to other countries. However, it raises personal growth but on the other hand it effects are mental health alots as screnen 24-7 hrs effect our mental development. But i think we should use these digital platforms as additional source of income. In case if the internet stops working that what be be another source of income as the result online platform also stops working.
In the conclusion, major portion of the youth is using a digital platforms like crypto currency to earn and develops a mindset to stay away from the job that forces you to work under someone guidance, but however the economy of the country is declining day by day. Most importantly we should use these platforms as additional sources of income not as major source of income.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, exploring the reasons for self-employment (such as modern technology and flexibility) and its disadvantages (such as economic impacts and health concerns). However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on economic growth remains surface-level, stating that 'the rate of employment declines the economic growth' without deeper elaboration. While a clear position is presented, the arguments would benefit from more specific examples rather than sweeping generalisations about 'genz generation'. Despite these limitations, all parts of the task are covered, earning a solid Band 5.5.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, attempting an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by abrupt transitions and confusing referencing. For example, the sentence 'To begin with these , we all know we are genz generation...' lacks a clear link to the previous paragraph, and cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or misused, such as 'However, the citizens nowadays...'. Paragraphing is attempted, but ideas within paragraphs do not always flow smoothly, leading to a disjointed reading experience. These issues place the response firmly in the Band 5.0 range for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, with frequent word-choice and collocation errors. Examples include 'majority of the residents are liked to be self - employed' (instead of 'like to be') and 'screnen 24-7 hrs effect our mental development'. The writer attempts some less common terms like 'contemporary era' and 'digital platforms', but inaccurate morphological forms (e.g., 'millenial ones', 'development' instead of 'health') and spelling slips restrict the range. Communication is occasionally strained due to these lexical inaccuracies, aligning the response with a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the text. There are frequent errors in verb tense, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Examples include 'the major cause for this are modern innovation' (plural/singular mismatch), 'They works on digital platforms that paid them' (incorrect verb forms), and 'it have large impact'. Punctuation is also erratic, with spaces incorrectly placed before commas and periods. While some complex sentences are attempted, errors are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, justifying a Band 5.0.
