Student answer (Band 5.0)
in todays world people love to be independent, they don't like to follow or work under people. they love to be self employed rather than depending on compony or organization. it is very difficult to be self employed but now, due to technology and ai its been little effortless.
we have seen people are struggling to find jobs in company even tho they are well educated and they have expressions of many jobs. and also nowadays, there are so many cases of organization like some organization stole Money of people an d they went out of country. for people we are truly searching for jod its been nightmare.
so, people love to be self-employed and they want to open their own company. to be self employed there are many disadvantage and advantage. to be self employed we need a lot of Money , we need to search good place and if we did that also we need more people to join our company. if it worked than we can earn a lot of money so that we can fulfill our need and desire. there was one senior of my school level at that time he used to study at high school due to his family problem he used to work at many different company and now, because of his expression of work he has opened his own cafe due to lack of his knowledge on how to operate and how can we call costumer and lack of good service that cafe has gone through drastice losses. if we want to be self employed than we need to know about ever thing.
in conclusion being self employed is very goof for our future. we can a lot of money also but in some case we may loss all our money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you suggest that job scarcity and distrust of some organisations may encourage people to work independently, and you describe financial and operational risks. The café example is relevant and gives the disadvantages some support. However, the response only partially develops the task. The reasons for choosing self-employment are not clearly separated or explained, and the claim that technology and AI make it easier is mentioned without an example or explanation. The disadvantages are more developed, but the discussion focuses mainly on the money needed and one business’s failure. Your conclusion says self-employment is good, but this position is broad and does not weigh its benefits against its risks. Explain each main idea more fully and directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from general reasons to disadvantages, then to a conclusion. The school senior’s café story also provides a recognisable example within the discussion. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear: the second paragraph shifts from difficulty finding jobs to organisations stealing money, without explaining how these points connect to self-employment. Linking phrases such as “so” and “and also” are repeated or used loosely, and the final paragraph introduces a general judgement rather than drawing together the earlier points. Use one paragraph for reasons and another for disadvantages, with a clear topic sentence in each, and make the relationship between each example and your main point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “self-employed,” “organization,” “operate,” “service,” and “losses,” and the café example shows an attempt to discuss business matters. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the meaning less clear, such as “expressions of many jobs” where you appear to mean experience, “jod,” and “goof.” Repetition of “people,” “company,” “money,” and “self-employed” also restricts precision. Some phrases are unnatural, including “call costumer” and “fulfill our need and desire.” Build a more accurate range for employment and business, and check spelling and collocations so that your ideas are easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, for example, “if we want to be self employed than we need to know about ever thing.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence boundaries, verb forms, articles, and agreement can make the reader work to follow your meaning. The opening uses comma splices between complete ideas, while “there are so many cases of organization like some organization stole Money” has an unclear structure and inconsistent tense. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise forming complete sentences with one main clause and a correctly joined supporting clause; then check subject–verb agreement, past-tense consistency, and articles before submitting.
