Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, as society continues to evolve education and employment has an increasingly important aspect of life. Though, many of the people are working for a company or organisation are now moving towards to be self-employed. In this essay, we will discuss the reason for this trend and possible drawbacks of being self-employed.
To begin, there may be several reasons for employees constructing their own organisation or bussiness, such as there some conpanies do not provide good environment for the workers and they do not rise the salary even for the long term working employees. For example, there are some bussiness that hires students on purpose, pressuring them to work overtime which is not legal for them, then they compensate them with minimal wages. Also, other possible reason is, sometimes wookers discovered the business they are working for is making an amazing profit. Therefore, in the eager to earn all profit they plan to start their own bussiness.
Furthermore, there are few disadvantages for being business owner rather than working under some other business. One of them, for standing own business it requires massive investsments and an experienced staff to maintain it. Second, it is much difficult to get a break from own company because all other staff depends on you. For instance, a chef in a particular restaurant starts his own cloud kitchen in a purpose of good income, but to run this it requires more spending on the food products, utensils, space and atleast two of more cook or helpers.
As a result, self-made organisation takes patience, money, staff and a risk.
In conclusion, many people are choosing to be self-made rather than doing job in other companies because of bad environment, low wages and to grow economically despite some disadvantages of taking risk of spending all of their saving.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the question and maintain a clear focus on why people become self-employed and what difficulties they may face. The reasons given—poor working conditions, low pay, and wanting to keep more of a business’s profits—are relevant, as are the costs of setting up and the difficulty of taking time off. The restaurant example helps illustrate the financial demands. However, some points are more fully explained than others: the claim that workers leave to earn all the profits needs clearer development, and the disadvantages could include further consequences such as uncertain income or responsibility for business failure. Your conclusion summarises the main ideas, though it could draw the discussion together more precisely. More balanced explanation and support would strengthen the response further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing expressions such as “To begin,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” make the stages easy to follow, and the examples are placed alongside the relevant points. Some linking is mechanical, however, and the progression within paragraphs is not always smooth. For instance, “Also, other possible reason” introduces a new idea abruptly, while “As a result” does not clearly show how the preceding list leads to that summary. The restaurant example also becomes a long sentence containing several details. Use more precise links between claims and explanations, and make each paragraph’s internal progression clearer to move beyond an overall coherent arrangement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to employment and business, including “self-employed,” “minimal wages,” “experienced staff,” and “maintain.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and phrases such as “good income” and “low wages” show an attempt to discuss financial motives. However, the range and control are limited by repeated use of “business” and noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, including “bussiness,” “conpanies,” “wookers,” and “investsments.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “constructing their own organisation,” “massive investments,” and “in the eager to earn all profit.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and a wider range of terms for employment and business ownership. Proofreading spelling and choosing more precise expressions would make your meaning easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrast in “Though, many of the people…” and a conditional-style example beginning “because all other staff depends on you.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “education and employment has an increasingly important aspect” has an unclear grammatical relationship, while “all other staff depends” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The opening “Though” is also not correctly connected to a main clause, and the sentence beginning “For example, there are some…” runs through several ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check agreement and clause boundaries before adding further complexity.
