Student answer (Band 5.0)
There will be an ongoing debates about whether nowadays many peoples choose to be self-employed, rather than to work for a company or organisation. Some people agree this statement. But others not believe in this statement. I agree with this statement but there are some disadvantages of self-employment rather than to work for a company or organisation. I will explain to the next paragraphs.
First of all, Nowadays the peoples choose to be self-employed because it is easy as compared to the work in company or organisation. Many people work online for the call centre and other organisation at the home because it has no extra buden to their health. Some people work own business like amazon, e-bay and earn more money as compared to work on company or organisation. I really agree with people choose to be self-employed rather than to work for a company or organisation because people run own online business and earn more money as compared to company salary.
There are some disadvantages of self-employed that people do work at the home. They cannot go outside the home and could not communicate with other person, their mind can shut off over the time. This is very bad effect on their health. For example, the people work for company or organisation is good thing because they can talk with new people and explore the advance technology. This is very important for every people. Furthermore, People not gain the hand on experience in the self-employed the time not same over the period it can be flactuate, so my point of view the hand on experience is vital for every person for their life.
In conclusion, my point of view the people work for company or organisation is best because it gain the hand on experiece and explore new technology and new people. Their mind relax and refresh when they communicate with other person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that working from home or running an online business can be easier and more profitable, and you identify isolation and reduced opportunities to communicate as disadvantages. Your view is also stated, although it shifts: you initially support self-employment, then conclude that company work is best. This makes your overall position less clear. The reasons are relevant but need fuller explanation and more precise support; for instance, explain how self-employment can increase earnings or why limited contact affects wellbeing. The point about gaining practical experience is relevant, but its connection to self-employment could be made clearer. Develop each main idea with a specific example and maintain one consistent position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “First of all,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are repeated, particularly the claim that self-employed people can earn more. The introduction also spends space presenting a general debate rather than moving directly to the two questions. Connections between points can be difficult to follow, as in the sentence about fluctuating time and practical experience. Group related ideas, use clearer references, and make each paragraph develop one central point rather than adding loosely connected claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main topic, with relevant terms such as “self-employed,” “online business,” “salary,” and “experience.” However, the range is basic and repetitive, and inaccurate word choice or spelling sometimes makes the message harder to understand. Examples include “extra buden,” “hand on experience,” and “their mind can shut off”; these expressions are unclear or unsuitable in context. “Peoples” and “flactuate” also show problems with word form and spelling. Aim to use more precise phrases for the ideas you discuss, such as financial independence, social isolation, and practical skills, and check spelling and collocations carefully. This would make your meaning clearer and reduce repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses with “because” and “when,” but control is inconsistent and errors occur frequently. For example, “There will be an ongoing debates” has a mismatch between the article and plural noun, while “Some people agree this statement” is missing a grammatical link. Other examples include “people run own online business” and “the people work for company,” where articles and possessives are needed. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: several ideas are joined in long sentences without clear separation. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, plural forms, and complete sentence patterns before adding more complex structures. Clearer sentence construction will make your arguments easier to follow.
