Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response makes an attempt to discuss why people choose self-employment, mentioning AI, the possibility of higher income and opportunities, and it also refers to risk and losses. However, the reasons are difficult to follow and are not clearly explained; for example, “AI gives a lot of better idea” is not connected to a specific advantage of working for oneself. The disadvantages are only touched on through “a many losses” and the need for “a lot of attention,” without explaining their effects or giving an example. The final phrase, “In this context,” is unfinished. The response contains 201 words, so it is 49 words below the required minimum; 14 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop clear, relevant points for both questions and support them with examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response into an introduction and two body paragraphs, and the repeated references to self-employment keep the general topic visible. However, the progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from AI to risk, then to jobs and company benefits without showing how these ideas connect. The second paragraph also shifts between employment, opportunity, income and risk, while its central point remains unclear. Linking phrases such as “According to the question” and “In this context” do not establish clear relationships, and the latter introduces no completed idea. To improve, give each paragraph one main purpose, order supporting points logically, and use clear references and transitions to show cause, contrast or example.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “self-employed,” “business,” “risk,” “income” and “organisation,” so the reader can identify the general subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions such as “industrial sector” and “significant terms.” However, vocabulary is often repetitive or inaccurately formed, and several choices make the intended meaning unclear: “self create employed,” “gained freatures” and “most benefical” are examples. Phrases such as “Risk is better than work” also do not express the likely intended comparison precisely. Build a reliable set of phrases for advantages and disadvantages, and check spelling, word forms and collocations. More precise wording would help communicate ideas without changing the topic.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writer attempts both simple statements and longer sentences, including a contrast with “rather than” and clauses joined by “because” and “but.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction frequently make the meaning hard to interpret. For example, “a lot of citizen choose” has a number-agreement problem, while “most people didnot choose work” and “opportunity to gained” show problems with verb forms. Some sentences combine several ideas without clear grammatical relationships, as in “Risk is better than work because work gives a limited money for life.” Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
