Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions and maintain a broadly relevant focus: you suggest that independence and the chance to develop skills attract people, while financial losses and their effects on wellbeing are disadvantages. However, the response only partially develops these points, which is why the discussion remains limited. The reasons for choosing self-employment are not always clearly explained, and the example of investing money and hiring staff does not show specifically why someone prefers this work arrangement. The disadvantage of taking a loan is more relevant, but its consequences are repeated rather than explored in detail. Your opening also says company work is beneficial, leaving your overall position somewhat unclear. State the main reasons directly and support each with a focused example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides of the task. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and linking expressions are often repetitive or mechanical: “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In addition” appear frequently without always showing a clear relationship between ideas. Some connections are difficult to follow, particularly “they may have always ready for every situation,” and the sentence beginning “Which leads to depression” is left as a fragment. The conclusion repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. Organise each body paragraph around one main idea, explain it in sequence, and use clearer referencing and fewer, more precise connectors.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “self-employed,” “limitations,” “losses,” “loan,” and “depression,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response unclear. Examples include “make their own discussion” for making decisions, “face losses,” “fear of lose,” and “live in office as a owner.” There are also spelling errors such as “origanization,” and repeated general words such as “people,” “success,” and “different.” These features fit a response with a basic but usable vocabulary range. Build a bank of accurate phrases for business and employment, and check spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “when,” and “which,” but control is inconsistent. Frequent errors in verb forms and agreement include “many people to choose,” “they can makes,” “he face,” and “he can also hired.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “as a owner” and the fragment “Which leads to depression, anxiety and his family also face numerous issues.” These errors sometimes make the intended relationships harder to follow, particularly in the examples. To improve, practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and finite verb, then check agreement, verb patterns after modal verbs, and punctuation. Aim for accurate simple sentences before adding several clauses.
