Student answer (Band 5.0)

World has been changed and geeting more advance day by day because of changing in world the prafernce of human being are also changing day by day so in early tme the people mostly prefer to be employment for oorganzation beacuse of limited education, limited set of skills and easyness to get education and skills but now at that time to getting theses things are much more easy i think that is one of the basic cause that people choose self employment over the employment for the organization.

There is many cases through which we can prove that why the prafernce of eople are shifting but one of the main reason is that now poplation are grown many times than eraler and which also inceases rhe probelms and that problems give oppurtuinty to peple to make more innovation to solve problem and we know that the business means giving solution to any problem and satisfirsd the human need so that yhings increase inovation and create a mindset of people that why we should not start it for themselves rather than to any organization i maens that they want to use there abilities and skills for there own startup instead to any organization so that is why the self employment is incraesed and emplyoment for organization are decreased.

There are one more thing that may be the cause of self employment is in erlear time there was lack of resouces ,education ,skills and we know that these are the basic things for everything but now getting these things are very easy and simpler so that can be the most valuable cause of the shifiting towards self employment.

There are many advantages of self employment such as inovation, self stisfiction ,reduction in mental health issues but there are some disadvantges of it such as the budern of work ,and the most important disadvantge is the organzitional work become lesser and lesser day by day which is the backbone of any economy which can greatly effect the economy of any country

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you suggest that easier access to education and skills encourages people to start businesses, and you identify workload and possible economic effects as disadvantages. However, the reasons are repeated rather than clearly developed, and some claims are difficult to follow—for example, the link between population growth, innovation, and choosing self-employment is asserted without a specific explanation or example. The disadvantages are also only briefly stated; the claim that organisational work will decline needs clarification, and you could explain practical risks such as unstable income or lack of employee benefits. Your response therefore covers the task only partially, with ideas that remain limited and under-supported. Develop each point with a clear explanation and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some overall organisation: the response moves from possible reasons for self-employment to a paragraph about its advantages and disadvantages. However, the progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow, especially in the long second paragraph, where population growth, innovation, problem-solving, and personal start-ups are joined without clear steps. Linking phrases such as “There are many cases” and “There are one more thing” are repetitive or imprecise, and the final paragraph combines advantages with disadvantages rather than giving the requested drawbacks a clear focus. Use shorter paragraphs with one main idea each, and connect each explanation explicitly to the question. Clearer referencing and more accurate transitions would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “self-employment,” “innovation,” “abilities and skills,” and “backbone of any economy.” This gives you some means of discussing the subject, but the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “easy,” “things,” and “problems.” Frequent spelling errors, such as “prafernce,” “oppurtuinty,” and “disadvantges,” make the text harder to read. Some word combinations are also unclear or unnatural, including “the organizational work become lesser” and “reduction in mental health issues.” Build a more precise vocabulary for business risks and benefits, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For example, describe “unstable income” or “financial uncertainty” rather than relying on general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt longer sentences and use some subordinate clauses, for example, “because of changing in world” and “which also increases the problems,” but these structures are often faulty or difficult to follow. Agreement errors occur in “There is many cases” and “the organizational work become,” while articles and sentence boundaries are frequently missing or unclear. The opening sentence runs on through several ideas, and the final sentence also joins claims without effective punctuation. These recurring errors sometimes make the intended relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” and “although.” Check subject–verb agreement and punctuation when editing.
