Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the modren era, technology has been overlaped the traditional methods of employments. It is true that self-employment is flexible and more comfortable rather then working as employee in any company. As per my prespective, working under a company is necessary. Because of this employment people can learn new things on daily basis and able to work as a team under a strict environment.

Now a days, newly graduates are very agreesive for the employment just after completeing their education in universities. After completeing bachelors, they did not persue their career in an organisation to learn the practical experience. For example, a student of LLB who passed the five years examination in a law school and after this they were not been able to appear before the court directly because they do not know the ethics and behaviour to conduct the practice of court. A law firm or any non-profitiable orginasition will make them able to work in a conjusted and locked condition. These situations makes the person to decide the matter on the spot and without this trainings or employments for several years no one can learn by watching reels on social media or through artificial intelligence.

On the other hand, self employment not bound the employer to follow any others persons intstructions. In the times of technology, everyone have different choises to work as a self employee as multiple websites provides opportunities to indiviuals to work and earn.Instead of this, no one is there who find errors in your tasks and can correct your mistakes. In the result you directly make mistakes in your client protfolio which causes the decline in clientage and companies trust.

In the conclusion, there are several negitive points for being a self employee as everyone can done mistakes but no one can correct this in this situation but under a company a team or a senior management overlook your assingments and find out the errors there.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that technology and online platforms make self-employment attractive, and you identify limited feedback and mistakes affecting client trust as disadvantages. The law-graduate example also supports your view that organisational work can provide practical learning. However, the response does not consistently explain why people choose self-employment; much of the second paragraph instead argues that graduates should work for an organisation. Your position that company employment is necessary is clear in places, but its relationship to the task’s two questions could be made more explicit. Develop the reasons for choosing self-employment and explain the consequences of its disadvantages with more precise, relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphing broadly separates the discussion of organisational employment from self-employment, and transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal a change in focus. However, progression is uneven: the second paragraph spends considerable space on the benefits of company work, so the reasons people choose self-employment are not developed in a clear sequence. Some linking expressions are inaccurate or unclear, including “Instead of this” and “In the result,” and the conclusion largely repeats the point about mistakes without bringing both parts of the question together. Organise each body paragraph around one task question and use more precise links between claims and examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to employment and professional development, including “self-employment,” “practical experience,” “ethics,” and “client trust.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited by repeated wording such as “employment,” “company,” and “mistakes,” while frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “modren,” “prespective,” “agreesive,” and “non-profitiable.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “locked condition” and “client protfolio.” Build a more accurate set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully; this will make your meaning clearer and more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional-style explanation of how a law firm can help graduates gain experience. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “Because of this employment people can learn new things on daily basis” is an incomplete sentence, while “newly graduates are very agreesive” has problems with article use and agreement. There are also recurring errors in verb forms and sentence structure, as in “everyone have different choises” and “everyone can done mistakes.” Practise complete sentence construction, subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and main verb.
