Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the modern era, self business is really important for human beign survival. many people choose self-work, than to work for a public factories. This essay will discuss disadvantages and i wil give my own opinion.

on the one hand, many people choose to be self business.because other companies does not give better opportunities. for example person wake up early in the morning and take break fast and ready for job and go for company all day work and come back at the home and tired after month salary time company give a enough salary this income is not enough for daily survival also job person is does not happy for a company. in adition some times employe want to live in the job but company manegar does not accept letter it is really dificult for employe.

every employe want a self business because their are run own business better than other company. it is really help ful for human survival its gives a more opportunities and pay back more money also it is benifical rather than jobs. i strongly support own business its gives a better life style, and also its a mind fresh.

on the other hand, their are some drawbacks like some times own business has a big lose a fall complte business it is really bad impact on human statment and health for example sely employe run alone business no body have partner in the business and business drop sharply its create a huge impact on human life. secondaly own business built a huge business its consume a massive time around 10 to 13 years this duration daily survival is really effective and does not come money in monthly base its generate a big tension in a self employe life.

In conclusion, self business provide a relaxation, eassy life routine and its helps to survival happily. However self employe has some disadvantages some business decline and owner go the depression distrub him health also its effect montly in come. but i strongly support own business because its provides a huge things.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that people choose self-employment because company jobs may offer insufficient pay or limited opportunities, and you identify risks such as business failure, unstable income, and stress. Your position in favour of running a business is also stated. However, the reasons are often difficult to follow or remain general. For example, the long account of an employee’s daily routine does not clearly explain how it demonstrates the appeal of self-employment, and the point about an employer refusing a resignation letter is not developed. The disadvantages are more relevant, but the effects of business failure and long working periods need clearer explanation and a specific example. Develop each main idea with a direct explanation and supporting detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an overall structure, with an introduction, paragraphs presenting reasons and disadvantages, and a conclusion. The contrast markers “on the one hand” and “on the other hand” help signal the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first reasons paragraph moves from a daily routine to salary, job satisfaction, and resignation without showing how these points connect. Several sentences run together, making relationships between ideas hard to identify. Linking phrases such as “in addition” and “secondly” are attempted, but they do not consistently create a clear sequence. Paragraphing would be more effective if each paragraph focused on one central point, followed by an explanation and example. Use clearer sentence boundaries and refer back to ideas explicitly.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “opportunities,” “salary,” “drawbacks,” “business,” and “income.” However, the range is basic and repetitive, with “business” and “self” appearing frequently, and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to understand. Phrases such as “self business,” “public factories,” “business has a big lose,” and “monthly base” are not natural or precise in this context. Spelling errors, including “employe,” “benifical,” and “dificult,” also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of expressions for employment and financial risk, and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish self-employment from owning a business and describe income instability clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There are attempts to express reasons and consequences, but sentence structures are mostly simple or become long, faulty chains. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur in examples such as “other companies does not give” and “their are run own business.” Articles and sentence construction are also unreliable, as in “go for company all day work” and “company give a enough salary.” The extended sentence beginning “for example person wake up early” contains several ideas without clear grammatical boundaries, which makes the meaning difficult to follow. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including lowercase sentence openings and missing full stops. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled clauses and appropriate punctuation.
