Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that people seek freedom and the chance to use their own skills and ideas, and you identify financial risk and debt as disadvantages. These points are relevant, but the reasons are only partly explained. For example, the claim that company work takes longer to develop skills is not clarified, and the discussion of government loans does not show how this specifically motivates people to become self-employed. The disadvantage paragraph gives a possible consequence, but would be stronger with a concrete example or a clearer explanation of how income uncertainty affects a business owner. Your conclusion offers a general comment about risk rather than summarising the main reasons and drawback. Develop each point with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several links are mechanical or repetitive: “Moreover” begins multiple paragraphs, while “So that” is used to connect ideas without a complete, clear relationship. The final paragraph shifts from summarising the topic to a coin metaphor and a comment about success, so it does not bring the discussion together effectively. Some references, such as “they” and “this debt,” are also difficult to follow because the people or situation they refer to are not always explicit. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each explanation directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “self-employment,” “government scheme,” “loan,” “interest rate,” and “debt.” There is also some effort to express abstract ideas, such as freedom and developing one’s skills. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “contemporary epoch,” “individual,” and “self-employment.” Frequent spelling errors, including “beleive,” “technocal,” and “sucess,” make the writing less clear and reduce control of vocabulary. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “work is boring” to express dissatisfaction with employment and “fall down” for business failure. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling; a smaller set of well-controlled topic-specific expressions would make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “however,” and “if.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure, but complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “many individual wants to self-employed” has problems with plural agreement and the verb pattern, while “government can also helps” combines incompatible verb forms. In “if some time their work and ideas is not sucess,” the conditional clause also has agreement and structure problems. Several sentences run together, especially in the conclusion, where punctuation does not clearly separate the ideas. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time and check subject–verb agreement.
