Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover the main features and report the figures accurately: visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000, satisfaction increased, and dissatisfaction fell, while “no response” remained at 5%. The overview identifies the broad improvement, and the response includes the key survey categories. However, the overview’s phrase “the satisfaction level rise is also seen to 30% to 40%” is unclear and does not capture the full change: the satisfied and very satisfied shares both increased, from 30% to 40% and 15% to 35% respectively. The response is also 9 words below the required 150-word minimum; 32 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop the overview more clearly and add a little relevant detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs beginning “Firstly” and “Secondly.” This helps the reader follow the shift from visitor totals to survey results. However, the progression is somewhat mechanical, with “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover” doing much of the linking, and the overview is not clearly separated from the detailed comparisons in meaning. Some connections are awkward, particularly “In contrast, after refurbishment dissatisfaction results in 15%,” which makes the comparison harder to process. Group the positive satisfaction figures together and the negative figures together, and use clearer links such as “By comparison” or “Meanwhile.” This would create a more coherent progression and reduce the list-like feel.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant task vocabulary, including “refurbishment,” “dissatisfied,” “very satisfied,” and “increase,” so the main information is generally understandable. There is also some attempt to vary wording, for example “rapid increase” and “decrease in dissatisfaction.” However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “totall,” “visitore,” “refusbishment,” and “very dissatisfaction.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “satisfaction level rise” and “results of survey.” Aim for accurate forms and natural collocations, such as “the level of satisfaction rose” and “survey results.” A more precise range of comparison language would also help you describe the changes without repeating “result” and “after refurbishment.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including “In addition, the pie chart illustrates…” and a comparison beginning “In contrast.” The main trends can usually be understood, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “the numbers of visitors were increased” uses an incorrect passive form; write “the number of visitors increased.” In “after refurbished,” the required noun or passive construction is missing, and “the in the satisfaction level rise” has faulty word order and verb form. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence construction, as in “no response were on same results.” Practise forming accurate past-tense comparisons and checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
