Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the task by summarizing the provided data, but the coverage is uneven. While you identify the main trends—the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction levels—the analysis lacks depth. You mention the figures (74,000 to 92,000), which is good, but the description of the pie charts is somewhat repetitive and lacks precise comparative language. To reach a higher band, ensure you clearly contrast the 'before' and 'after' data points rather than just listing them. The overview is present but could be more effectively integrated to highlight the most significant trends rather than just stating that things increased.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'To commence with' is an unnatural way to introduce a body paragraph in a data report. Additionally, the transition 'Whereas' at the start of the second sentence is grammatically incorrect as it is a fragment. While there is a logical progression from the table to the charts, the flow between sentences is often choppy due to limited variety in linking words. Improving the use of referencing and transition signals would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use the phrase 'after refurbished' and 'no. of visitors', which limits the range of your expression. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'people are more seeing satisfied' and 'better development', which hinder precision. To improve, you should aim to use a wider variety of synonyms for 'increase' (e.g., 'rose', 'climbed', 'surged') and more accurate terminology for describing survey data, such as 'proportion' or 'percentage'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include incorrect verb forms ('after refurbished' instead of 'after the refurbishment'), subject-verb agreement ('The no. Visitors is rise'), and missing articles. The sentence structures are predominantly simple, with limited attempts at complex sentences. When complex structures are attempted, they often contain errors, such as the fragment in the introduction. Focusing on basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that verbs are correctly conjugated and that articles are used appropriately, will significantly improve your score.
