Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of the data, such as the shift in satisfaction levels before and after the refurbishment. However, the response lacks clarity in presenting the data. For instance, the phrase 'the given data was calibrated in percentile' is inaccurate, as the charts show percentages, not percentiles. Additionally, some descriptions are vague, such as 'surprising face a massive growth', which does not clearly state what is growing. To improve, ensure that you explicitly mention the categories (e.g., 'very satisfied') when describing the trends to avoid ambiguity. The overview is present but could be more effectively integrated to provide a clearer summary of the overall trends.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or misused. Phrases like 'At the fleeting glance' and 'Moving ahead' feel unnatural in this context. Furthermore, the referencing is sometimes unclear; for example, 'Another striking dissatisfied was incline jump' is grammatically disjointed and makes the logical progression difficult to follow. To improve, focus on using standard linking words like 'In contrast,' 'Furthermore,' or 'Conversely' to connect your ideas more smoothly. Ensure that each sentence clearly relates to the previous one to create a more cohesive flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is somewhat limited and occasionally inaccurate. You rely on repetitive phrasing and struggle with word choice, such as using 'calibrated in percentile' instead of 'expressed as percentages'. Phrases like 'surprising face a massive growth' and 'ratio of satisfied comparatively maximum' are not standard English collocations and hinder the precision of your report. To reach a higher band, try to use more precise terminology for describing trends, such as 'increased significantly,' 'remained constant,' or 'the proportion of.' Expanding your range of descriptive adjectives and adverbs will also help you convey the data more accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the response, including issues with articles ('the year before refurbished'), subject-verb agreement ('surveys face no response'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary components, such as 'Another striking dissatisfied was incline jump'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty, which can cause difficulty for the reader. Focusing on basic sentence construction—ensuring every sentence has a clear subject, verb, and object—will significantly improve your clarity and accuracy.
