Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the ability to fully address the task. While you identified the total visitor numbers and some survey trends, the analysis is fragmented and lacks a clear overview or logical structure. You mention 'very satisfied' and 'dissatisfied' categories, but the description is confusing and does not clearly compare the data between the two years. To improve, you must ensure you cover all parts of the prompt, provide a clear summary of the main trends, and meet the length requirement to allow for sufficient development of your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay lacks a logical structure. There is no clear paragraphing, and the progression of ideas is difficult to follow. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'first of fall' and 'third one', but these are used incorrectly or mechanically. The sentences are often disconnected, making it hard for the reader to understand the relationship between the data points. To improve, focus on grouping related information into distinct paragraphs—such as an introduction, an overview, and body paragraphs—and use a wider range of linking words to connect your sentences more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is very limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'change', 'number', and 'table'. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'Meseum' instead of 'Museum', 'lwss tand' instead of 'less than', and 'propotions'. These errors, combined with the limited range, make it difficult to convey precise information about the data. To improve, try to learn and use more academic vocabulary related to data description, such as 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', 'proportion', and 'significant increase'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The grammar is weak, with frequent errors that often impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, sentence fragments, and incorrect word order (e.g., 'The table diagram is many information'). You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, and even these contain errors in punctuation and tense. There is no evidence of complex sentence structures. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and practicing the correct use of articles and prepositions.
