Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers the main features of the data, such as the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction levels. However, the reporting is somewhat disjointed and lacks a clear, analytical focus. While you identify the total visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction, the description of the survey data is imprecise and lacks a clear comparison between the two periods. For instance, you mention '15 percent' and '30 percent' without clearly linking these to the specific categories of satisfaction. To improve, ensure you group data logically and provide a more accurate summary of the trends rather than listing individual figures in a fragmented way.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often mechanical and sometimes confusing. The use of cohesive devices is limited and occasionally misused, such as 'After all this process and then it give result'. The progression of ideas is not always logical; for example, the transition from visitor numbers to satisfaction levels is abrupt. The use of referencing is also weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison between the 'before' and 'after' periods. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The range of vocabulary is limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'result', 'show', and 'satisfied'. There are several errors in word choice and form, such as 'vistiors', 'refurbished' (used as a noun), and 'satisfication'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary related to data description, such as 'fluctuated', 'experienced a rise', or 'proportion'. Additionally, pay closer attention to word forms to ensure you are using the correct part of speech in your sentences.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the readability of the text. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'The table show', 'visitors... is'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain structural errors, such as 'It also surveyed that how visitors satisfied'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the text from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions and articles, before attempting more complex structures.
