Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to summarize the data, but it fails to mention the table showing visitor numbers entirely, focusing only on the pie charts. While some key features are identified, such as the increase in 'very satisfied' visitors, the reporting is inconsistent and lacks a clear overview of the trends. The data is presented in a fragmented way, and the failure to address the table means the task is only partially covered. To improve, ensure all provided data sources are analyzed and include a clear introductory overview that highlights the most significant trends across both the table and the charts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The response is organized into short paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is limited and often awkward, such as 'In the other hamel' and 'To pen down that'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison between the two time periods. The flow between sentences is disjointed, and the lack of effective linking words hinders the overall coherence of the report. Improving the use of transition signals and ensuring each paragraph has a clear focus would significantly enhance the structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and contains numerous spelling errors, such as 'eleborated', 'dissteisfied', 'decreasment', and 'disstisfied'. These errors, combined with non-standard phrasing like 'To pen down that', make the text difficult to read at times. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to convey the data with precision. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning accurate spelling and using more precise academic vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'significant increase', 'dramatic decline', or 'remained stable'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('These was 40% people', 'there are 30% of people are satisfied') and incorrect verb tenses. The sentence structures are mostly simple and repetitive. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and capitalization. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors causes some difficulty for the reader. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement would be a good starting point for improvement.
