Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the ability to fully develop the response. While you have identified the main features—the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction levels—the analysis is incomplete. The response ends abruptly mid-sentence, meaning the data is not fully reported or compared. To improve, ensure you complete the description of all data points provided in the charts and provide a more comprehensive summary of the trends. The failure to complete the task prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into an introduction, an overview, and a body paragraph. However, the progression is interrupted by the incomplete nature of the final sentence. Cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'Meanwhile', and 'Furthermore' are used, but they are sometimes used mechanically. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'contrast between the bar charts depicting that', which lacks a clear subject or logical flow. Improving the logical connection between sentences and ensuring the text is finished will greatly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'comparision' (comparison), 'reburishment' (refurbishment), and 'chars' (charts). The phrasing 'surpassed than' is grammatically incorrect and unnatural. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise vocabulary for describing data trends, such as 'rose significantly' or 'experienced a decline', and ensure that your spelling is accurate. The range of vocabulary is currently limited.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'total number of visitors in year after are surpassed than the year before', which lacks proper article usage and correct comparative structure. The sentence structure is often simplistic or fragmented. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often marred by errors in subject-verb agreement and preposition usage. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb forms.
