Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers the main features of the data, including visitor numbers and satisfaction levels. However, the presentation is somewhat mechanical, listing figures without sufficient synthesis or clear grouping. While the key trends (the increase in visitor numbers and the shift from dissatisfaction to satisfaction) are identified, the lack of a clear overview paragraph makes it difficult to grasp the 'big picture' immediately. The data is generally accurate, but the report would benefit from more sophisticated comparisons between the two periods rather than simply stating the figures for each year sequentially.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response lacks effective paragraphing, appearing as a single block of text. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often repetitive or misused (e.g., 'second', 'In the way', 'At the last'). The logical flow is hindered by the lack of clear transitions between the visitor numbers and the satisfaction survey data. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall structure feels disjointed. To improve, you should group related information into distinct paragraphs and use a wider variety of linking words to guide the reader through your analysis.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. You frequently use the same verbs and nouns, such as 'refurbished', 'redecorated', and 'reconstructed', which are often used incorrectly in context. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'satification', 'ranovated', 'remaintained', and 'percantage'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of precision and the frequent spelling mistakes limit the score. Using a broader range of synonyms and ensuring correct word choice would significantly enhance the quality of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the number of visitor are'), incorrect tense usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'the value of dissatisfied are reduced'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the text from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence boundary control and subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
