The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie charts illustrate the changes that happened to the visitors satisfaction in the Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished.

Overall, total number of visitors increased after the refurbishment. And more costumers were satisfied with their experience.

During the year before refurbishment, the total number of visitors to the Ashdown Museum were 74000. The pie chart shows 15% were very satisfied, 30% were just satisfied, 40% were dissatisfied, and 10% were very dissatisfied. 10% gave no response. This indicates that over 50% didn't enjoy their experience before the refurbishment.

The year after the refurbishment, the total number of visitors surged to 92000 compared to the year before the refurbishment, such a significant change! Very satisfied visitors increased by 20% making them 35%! Satisfied visitors grew by 10%. Dissatisfied visitors dropped by 25%, and very dissatisfied visitors fell by 5%. The last 5% gave no response.
