Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of the data, including the overall increase in visitor numbers and the shifts in satisfaction levels. You provided clear comparisons between the two periods. However, the report could be improved by ensuring all data points are accurately described. For instance, you mention 'dissatisfied visitors reduced 25% than before', which is slightly ambiguous; it is better to state that the percentage dropped from 15% to 5%. Additionally, ensure your overview clearly synthesizes the trends rather than just stating them. Overall, you have covered the requirements of the task well.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The response is logically organized into paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'To commence that', and 'additionally' to link ideas. However, 'To commence that' is not a standard phrase for academic writing; 'To begin with' or 'Regarding the visitor numbers' would be more appropriate. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be smoother. Ensure that each paragraph has a clear focus to avoid jumping between the table and the charts within the same section.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the main points, such as 'refurbishment', 'renovated', and 'satisfaction'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'amount of visitors' (should be 'number of visitors') and 'reached at 35%' (should be 'reached 35%'). You also have some minor errors in phrasing, such as 'very satisfied individuals was only 15%'. To reach a higher band, try to use more precise reporting verbs and avoid repetitive structures when describing changes in percentages.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement ('The charts depicts', 'total amount of visitor was') and missing articles ('before year refurbishment'). There are also issues with preposition usage and sentence construction, such as 'there were increased the amount of'. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage will help improve your accuracy.
