IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The table is explained about the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during and after the refurbishment. From the table it can be said that a huge number of visitors are come after the refurbishment. Besides, there is a huge difference in number of "Very Satisfied" between before and after refurbishment which is 15 and 35 respectively. On the other hand, there is no changes in number of "Satisfied" and in "No Response" before and after refurbishment which is 40 and 5 respectively. Moreover, there is decline in the number of dissatisfied which means that visitors' satisfaction gradually increased after refurbishment. And finally, there is slightly declining in the number of "very dissatisfied'. Over all, compare to the before and after refurbishment, numbers of visitors are gradually increased and their interests as well.
