Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of both the table and the pie charts. You successfully identified the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction levels. However, there are significant inaccuracies in your data reporting. For instance, you state that 'satisfied customers declined by half' and later mention 'satisfied customers accounted for 10% and reduced to 5%', which contradicts the visual data provided in the charts. Furthermore, your description of the 'dissatisfied' category is confusing and inconsistent with the provided figures. To improve, ensure that you carefully cross-reference your written summary with the actual data points to avoid factual errors, which are critical in Task 1.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'To commence with', and 'In contrast' to link ideas. However, the progression of ideas is occasionally hindered by the factual inaccuracies mentioned in the Task Achievement section. Additionally, some transitions feel slightly mechanical. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices more naturally and ensure that the logical flow between sentences is supported by accurate data interpretation.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'refurbished', 'significantly', 'dramatically', and 'increment'. However, there are some word choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'no response visitors' (likely meaning 'no response' or 'did not respond') and 'which is same the figure'. There are also minor spelling errors like 'repones'. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure your terminology accurately reflects the data presented in the charts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'illustrates number of visitors' (missing an article), 'when they were visited the museum' (incorrect passive voice), and 'which was increased 92,000' (incorrect preposition/verb usage). These errors occur frequently but do not completely impede communication. To improve, pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement, article usage, and the correct formation of passive voice constructions.
