Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the data, including the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction levels. However, the reporting is somewhat mechanical and lacks a professional academic tone. While the key figures are identified, the analysis is superficial. For example, the overview states the increase is 'very fast with an amazing numbers,' which is subjective and lacks the precision required for an Academic Task 1 response. The comparison between the two periods is present, but the data could be integrated more fluently to highlight the trends rather than just listing statistics.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often awkward or repetitive. Phrases like 'Exactly to say' and 'Turning to that' are used incorrectly and do not serve to link ideas effectively. The progression of information is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the overview and the transition between the visitor numbers and survey results. While the paragraphing is clear, the internal cohesion within paragraphs needs significant improvement to reach a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The range of vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'the soar of very total number' and 'grow more 24 percen.' The student relies on basic verbs like 'grow' and 'climb' repeatedly. There is also evidence of spelling errors ('incease', 'percen') and awkward phrasing that occasionally makes the meaning unclear. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'significant increase,' 'substantial growth,' or 'a marked improvement.'

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede the flow of reading. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('the pie charts gives'), article usage ('the total number'), and sentence structure ('This the table shows us'). The student relies almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences are often faulty, such as 'Attend to the year before and the year after, we easy to see...' Punctuation is also inconsistent. A wider range of complex structures is needed, and the student must focus on basic grammatical accuracy to ensure clarity.
