Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have successfully identified the main features of the data, including the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction levels. You provided a clear overview and supported your points with specific figures from the table and charts. However, there are some inaccuracies in your reporting. For instance, you mention 'negative sentiment plummeted' and state that 'dissatisfied segments halved to 5%', but the data shows 'dissatisfied' was 20% and 'very dissatisfied' was 20% (total 40%) before, and after, it was 10% and 5% (total 15%). You also mislabeled the 'dissatisfied' category as 'these satisfied visitors'. Ensure you double-check your data interpretation to avoid factual errors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The response is logically organized, with a clear introduction, an overview, and body paragraphs that group the visitor numbers and satisfaction data separately. You use some cohesive devices like 'Conversely' and 'Meanwhile' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing and minor errors in referencing, such as 'The proportion of these satisfied visitors draped from 40% to 15%,' where the reference to 'these' is unclear given the context. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different data sets, which helps the reader follow the progression of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'comprehensive,' 'sustainable,' 'surged,' and 'plummeted.' However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations. For example, you wrote 'draped' instead of 'dropped,' and 'individual who gave no response entirely unchanged' is grammatically incomplete. Additionally, 'total visitors data' is slightly repetitive. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey the main points, more precision and fewer errors in word choice would be required to reach a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'the change visitors numbers' (missing preposition), 'is and satisfied guests' (unnecessary 'is'), and 'percentage of individual who gave no response entirely unchanged' (missing verb). Furthermore, the final sentence, 'After refurbishment results of surveys and number of visitors are surged,' is grammatically incorrect and redundant. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall clarity of your writing.
