Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the table and charts, including the increase in visitor numbers and the shifts in satisfaction levels. However, the reporting of data is often unclear or inaccurate. For instance, stating 'the satisfied people are same percentage' is vague, and the description of the survey data lacks precision in comparing the two periods. The analysis is somewhat mechanical and fails to highlight the most significant trends effectively. To improve, you should focus on grouping data logically and ensuring that figures are cited accurately to support your observations, rather than simply listing numbers without clear context or comparison.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical flow is hampered by awkward phrasing and a lack of effective cohesive devices. While some transition words like 'However' and 'Furthermore' are used, they are often placed incorrectly or do not logically connect the ideas. The referencing is sometimes confusing, such as 'respond visitors at 5', which makes it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds clearly upon the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'people', 'visitors', and 'guest'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice, such as 'refurnished' instead of 'refurbished' and 'Modernisation' used in a context where it does not fit well. Additionally, the phrasing 'equally same' is redundant. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary related to data description, such as 'proportion', 'fluctuation', 'significant', and 'trend', and ensure that your word choices are precise and appropriate for an academic report.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'The dissatisfied guest are declined'), incorrect preposition usage (e.g., 'rose at 30'), and missing articles. The sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors, such as the run-on sentences in the second paragraph. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and article usage. Increasing the variety of your sentence structures will also help improve your score.
