Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of the data, including the overall increase in visitor numbers and the shifts in satisfaction levels. You made relevant comparisons between the two periods, such as the drop in dissatisfaction and the rise in 'very satisfied' visitors. However, the report could be improved by providing a more precise breakdown of the data. For instance, you mention that the number of satisfied visitors increased from 30% to 40%, but you did not mention the 'satisfied' category for the year before, which was 25%. Including these specific details would provide a more comprehensive summary of the information provided in the charts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is logically organized into clear paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs. You use a range of cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'Additionally' to guide the reader through the information. While the flow is generally good, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the referencing could be smoother. For example, the phrase 'With this' in the introduction is a bit awkward. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the paragraphing is appropriate for this type of task.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'redevelopment', 'renovation', and 'proportional'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation that prevent a higher score. For example, you use 'proportional of data' instead of 'proportions of data', and 'un-responded visitors' is not standard English; 'visitors who did not respond' or 'no response' would be more accurate. Additionally, 'ascended' is not the most natural choice for describing statistical trends; 'increased' or 'rose' would be more appropriate in this context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are several grammatical errors that occasionally affect clarity. For instance, 'the number of people were very satisfied' should be 'the number of people who were very satisfied'. There are also issues with article usage and prepositions, such as 'during the year before the refurbishment also less did not respond to that'. Some sentences are slightly disjointed, and punctuation around numbers (e.g., '92, 000') is inconsistent. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score.
