Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the task achievement. Furthermore, the content is underdeveloped and lacks a clear overview of the main trends. The data interpretation is inaccurate and confusing; for example, the description of visitor numbers as 'hundred dacade' is unclear and fails to report the actual figures provided in the table. The response lacks a logical comparison between the two periods, and the summary of the satisfaction survey is fragmented and difficult to follow. To improve, you must ensure all parts of the prompt are addressed, provide a clear overview, and include accurate data points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5

The response lacks a clear structure. It consists of only two short paragraphs, and the progression of ideas is disjointed. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and ideas, making the text difficult to follow. The transition between the table data and the survey charts is abrupt. To improve, you should use clear paragraphing—typically an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs—and employ linking words such as 'in contrast,' 'furthermore,' or 'consequently' to guide the reader through your analysis.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very limited and often inaccurate. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'meuseum' and 'decribed,' and the use of non-standard phrases like 'hundred dacade' and 'half of the decade in strengnth' makes the meaning obscure. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to describe data trends effectively. You should focus on learning specific terminology for reporting data, such as 'increased,' 'decreased,' 'remained stable,' and 'proportion,' and ensure you use standard English spelling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'The numbers... is decribed'), incorrect word forms, and awkward sentence structures. The attempt at complex sentences is unsuccessful, leading to confusion. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring that subjects and verbs agree, and practice using simple, clear sentences before attempting more complex structures. Proofreading for basic errors is essential.
