Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the task by summarizing the visitor numbers and survey results. However, the analysis is quite superficial. While you correctly identify the increase in visitor numbers (74,000 to 92,000), the description of the survey data is repetitive and lacks precision. For instance, you mention 'very satisfied' and 'satisfied' categories but fail to clearly contrast the 'dissatisfied' and 'very dissatisfied' figures, which show a significant downward trend. To improve, ensure you highlight the most significant trends and make clear comparisons between the two periods rather than just listing individual data points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is mechanical and lacks sophisticated cohesive devices. The use of transitions like 'first' and 'now' is repetitive and simplistic. Furthermore, the referencing is sometimes unclear; for example, 'this show in two chart' does not clearly link back to the specific data being discussed. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks logical progression, making the text feel like a list of observations rather than a cohesive report.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often imprecise. You rely on basic verbs like 'show', 'create', and 'increase'. There are also several errors in word choice and form, such as 'redevelop the entire museum then they took survey from them' and 'not that much people'. The lack of variety in reporting verbs and descriptive adjectives hinders the ability to convey the data with precision. To reach a higher band, you should incorporate more academic vocabulary related to data analysis, such as 'fluctuated', 'experienced a rise', or 'remained stable'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('This chart display us'), article usage ('the survey of the visitor'), and sentence structure (run-on sentences and fragments). The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. Complex structures are largely absent or attempted with significant errors. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct tense usage and punctuation, before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
