IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The table illustrate the numbers of tourist to Ashdown Museum during the year before and after it was renovated. Whereas, the pie chart provide the visitors satisfaction ratio.

Overall, there is significant rise in visitors after museum refurbished. The tourist ratio for very satisfied are the highest acquired share in chart. Whereas, people with negative opinion was the highest in year before refurbishment. However, visitors with no stand remains unchanged throughout the period.

The year before refurbishment, the majority of chart is acquired with dissatisfaction at 40% over the period it get reversed and after reconstruction the majority part was 40% with tourists who are satisfied. Similarly visitors who are very satisfied recorded as significant rose from 15% to 35%. Moreover, there is a minimal number of change in visitors who are supporting highly negative opinion at 10% too 5%. However, tourist with no response remain unchanged throughout the period at 5%.
