Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers all parts of the task by summarizing the visitor numbers and satisfaction levels. You successfully identified the main trends, such as the increase in visitor numbers and the shift toward higher satisfaction post-renovation. However, the reporting of data is sometimes imprecise; for example, stating '45percentage which distributes in more satisfied and satisfied condition' is vague. To reach a higher band, ensure that all data points are clearly linked to their specific categories and avoid generalizations. The overview is present but could be more clearly separated from the body paragraphs to highlight the main trends more effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices like 'In terms of', 'Whereas', and 'Meanwhile'. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by mechanical or awkward phrasing, such as 'While, pie charts compare...' and 'After renovation, the gratified condition improved towards the museum.' The use of punctuation is inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods throughout the text. While the progression of ideas is generally logical, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the repetitive sentence structures make the cohesion feel somewhat mechanical rather than fluid.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey the main points, using terms like 'refurbishment', 'renovation', and 'satisfaction level'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'gratified condition', 'inclined by 18,000' (instead of 'increased by'), and 'highly satisfy area'. These errors do not impede communication, but they demonstrate a limited control over precise academic vocabulary. To improve, focus on using collocations correctly and expanding your range of reporting verbs and adjectives to describe data trends more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include missing articles ('to Ashdown museum'), incorrect verb forms ('visitors not provided'), and punctuation errors (missing spaces after punctuation). While you attempt complex sentences, they are often marred by errors that occasionally distract the reader. The control over basic grammar is inconsistent, and the lack of attention to sentence-level mechanics prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage would significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
