Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have successfully identified the main trends and provided a clear overview of the data. You covered both the visitor numbers and the satisfaction survey results, making relevant comparisons between the two periods. The data is accurately reported, such as the increase from 74,000 to 92,000 visitors and the shift in satisfaction levels. To reach a higher band, ensure that your overview is more distinct and that you avoid minor inaccuracies in data interpretation, such as the claim that the dissatisfied percentage decreased from 40% to 15% (which is correct) while ensuring all comparisons are clearly linked to the specific categories provided in the charts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is logically organized with a clear introduction, an overview paragraph, and a body paragraph detailing the specific data. You use cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'Conversely', and 'Also' to guide the reader through the information. However, the flow between sentences could be smoother. Some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the paragraphing could be improved by separating the visitor numbers from the survey results to enhance readability. The referencing is generally clear, but ensure that your cohesive devices are used to connect ideas more naturally rather than just listing facts.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'delineates', 'conspicuous disparity', and 'reconstruction'. However, there are some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'guests number' instead of 'number of guests' and 'people's satisfaction towards museum' which should be 'satisfaction with the museum'. Additionally, phrases like 'rose up' are slightly redundant. To improve, focus on more precise academic collocations and ensure that your word forms are consistently accurate throughout the response.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this task. However, there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text, such as 'individuals very satisfied was 15% went up' (missing relative pronouns or conjunctions) and 'dissatisfied people proportion' (incorrect word order). There are also minor punctuation and article errors. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of relative clauses to improve your accuracy.
