Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, reaching only 92 words. Consequently, the task is incomplete, and the analysis of the data is severely underdeveloped. While the introduction attempts to paraphrase the prompt, the body paragraph is cut off mid-sentence, preventing a full summary of the main features or a comprehensive comparison of the survey results. To improve, you must ensure you provide a complete overview, select key data points from both the table and the charts, and extend your writing to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is too short to demonstrate effective paragraphing or a logical progression of ideas. While there is a basic attempt at an introduction and a body paragraph, the abrupt ending makes it impossible to assess the overall structure. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand' and 'Additionally' are used, but they are not supported by a coherent flow of information. To improve, focus on structuring your essay with a clear introduction, an overview of the main trends, and two distinct body paragraphs that compare the data sets logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. Phrases such as 'frequency of visitors' and 'the after the refurbished' are used incorrectly or awkwardly. There is a lack of variety in the language used to describe trends or data, and the word choice is often imprecise, such as 'result of satisfied' instead of 'satisfaction levels'. To improve, you should learn specific collocations for describing data, such as 'a significant increase in visitor numbers' or 'a marked improvement in satisfaction ratings'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammar is frequently inaccurate, which impedes clarity. There are consistent errors with articles ('the after the refurbished'), word forms ('result of satisfied'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are incomplete or poorly constructed, such as 'clearly seen that after the refurbished was frequency of visitors in'. The range of grammatical structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple, error-prone sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions when discussing data.
