IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The table give information of visitors to Ashdown museum before and after its furnishing. While pie chart illustrate satisfaction of them through survey outcome in both years.

Overall, there was increased in number of visitors after refurbishment as compared to before it. And it was also observed a positive increase in number of satisfied visitors as well as decrease in dissatisfied ones in particular time period of reconditioning museum. However Figure of no response remained stable in these years.

Visiting people to Ashdown museum was 74,000, which surges to 92000 after renovating it. similarly figure of very satisfied tourists increase to 35% from 15 % followed by decrease in dissatisfied ones from 40% to 15%. Similarly very dissatisfied decline to 5% from 10%.

Before changes satisfied visitors was 30% which rose to 40% after revamp. While people in no response category remained stable at rate of 5% with no observed change during these years.
