IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The pie chats depict satisfaction of visitors before and after refurbishment of Ashdown Museum .The number of visitors visited the museum before and after refurbishment is 74,000 and 92,000 respectivley.
About 15% and 35% of the visitors were very satisfied before and abfter refurbishment respectively . 30% and 40% of them were statisfied before and after respectiveky. The percentage of visitor who were dissatisfied decresed from 40% to 15% . And those who were very dissatified were decresed from 10% to 5 %. Those with no response were remained same by 5 %.
Overall the percentage of satisfied visitors were incresed after refurbishment. Wereas the dissatisfaction rate also decreased which proved that refurbishment of muesum was worth it.
