The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The table represents the number of visitors who have visited Ashdown Museum before and after refurbishment. Whereas, the pie charts illustrates the satisfaction of a visitor in different categories. The data is given in numbers.
Overall, the number of visitors are increased after the renovation and number of dissatifaction among the people gradually decreased. In addition to that, half of a people who were very dissatisfied changed their opinion after refurbisment.
During the year before refurbisment 74,000 people were visiting Ashdown Museum. However, the number of visitors surged to 92,000 after the renovation. Furthermore, only 15 people were satisfied before refurbishment which elevated more than double to 35, and 40 people were dissatisfied which changed to 40 satisfied people. Moreover, the level of dissatisfaction gradually decreased to 15 from 40 people. And half of a visitors who were extremely dissatisfied changed there decision and only 5 visitors left and 5 no responses were also registered after the refurbishment.
